We are looking for a fully-licensed clinician who is passionate about trauma-informed mental health care! Our ideal candidate is someone who has knowledge and skill to work with children, teens, adults, couples, or families.

Professional Qualities of Our Ideal Candidates:

  • Fully Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Fully Licensed Social Worker (LMSW) in state of Michigan

  • At least 2 years of psychotherapy experience

  • Ability to provide therapy sessions independently and competently

  • Professional references reflecting therapist’s proficiencies and work ethic

  • Availability to serve our community and contribute to office culture in-office at least 2 days per week

Open Chair Counseling offers:

  • A competitive fee split

  • A flexible schedule/choice of clients, as well as in-person and/or hybrid telehealth clinical work

  • Electronic Medical Record that provides seamless HIPPA compliant telehealth, billing and documentation platforms

  • Billing and administrative support

  • Working with Open Chair Counseling clinicians who have a passion for high quality clinical care, a collaborative environment, and community involvement in local events and speaking opportunities

Preference to clinicians who:

  • Have specialized trauma training

  • Are passionate about working with areas of: play therapy, parenting, couple’s counseling, or other niche needs

  • Understand early childhood social emotional development, parent-infant relationships and attachment

Job Type: Contract 1099

Pay: Varies based on insurance contracted rate and clinician cash-pay rate

Schedule: Create your own schedule, coordinate office sharing with other therapists

Work setting:

  • In-person

  • Hybrid in-person and telehealth
